Pump it UP

Pump it up is our new favorite place to play, it is an indoor inflatable playground. They have two enormous moon bounces, a 15 foot slide, and an obstacle course for kids. Adults are encouraged to go in the play areas with the children I am a big kid myself so I have no problem jumping in the moon bounce or going down slides. It is a workout for me but I have a blast and so does Jonah jr.

A trip to the Washington D.C Zoo

Last Tuesday Mima, Jonah jr and I took an adventure out to Washington D.C. we took the metro which was an adventure in itself but we made it. The zoo was great, we saw the pandas, giraffe, hippo, elephants and lots of other animals. Mima and I were so worn out we took a easy the rest of the week. It was the first time Mima and jonah jr went to a zoo it was so exciting to me that they got to experience the zoo for the first time together.

Birthday Gifts

Jonah Jr had a great time opening all his wonderful gifts that everyone got him. Daddy got Jonah jr his very own basketball hoop so they can ply together, he also got a really cool Thomas the train lego set. The biggest gift of all was the puppy dog ball pit, the ball pit takes up half of our living room but he loves it.

A trip back into time

Last Friday Jonah and I took a date night. Mima was glad to take over for the night and allow us to have time alone together. Jonah surprised me by getting off work early, picking me up around five and leaving me with no clue as to where we were going. He then asked me to open the glove department and there I saw two tickets to Medieval times. For those of you who don't have a clue as to what I am talking about Medieval times is a dinner and tournament venue. It was so much fun, the food was great and the entertainment was alsome. our knight was the most handsome knight there and I have pictures to prove it. I even was granted a flower by our knight personally during the show.

The birthday bash

Thanks for visiting our famliy blog, we just celebrated our sons first birthday, what a year it has been. Jonah Jr is walking and getting into everything, he is keeping us both very busy. Jonah jr is getting more fun everyday, daddy is teaching him how to shoot hoops and I am teaching him the different parts of his face he is so smart. Mima and Nana camefor a vist to help us celebrate the big ONE it was great having family around. We had a big birthday bash at Chuck E Cheese where Jonah jr saw chuckE cheese and screamed bloody muder. He soon got over his fears when we brought out the cake and he demolished it.
