We are the Bassett Family Jonah, Donna, Jonah Jr and our dog Brutus We would love to share our family with yours, families get so busy sometimes that we all forget to keep in touch so this will be a good way for everyone to be a part of our lives without being right here.

I am just kidding we have had a wonderful 3 years together, marriage takes work and lots of patience but in the long run it is worth it. Here is a picture of us on the best day of my life. Jonah has taken the day off to spend it with me and Jonah jr, we have just relaxed all day and Jonah is fixing my favorite dinner. I got a dozen roses and a wonderful evening with my family.

1st time bowling

Saturday night was the first time Jonah Eric has ever been bowling , he had a hard time rolling the 8 pound ball down the lane but mommy was able to help him. Jonah eric had a real good time he tried helping everyone bowl and he danced to the music all night long.

Happy birthday and mothers day

Yesterday was Jonah's 31st birthday and it was also mothers day so I had to share my holiday with my husband. But it was not too bad. Jonah made a good point he said "Mothers day is a made up day my birthday can not be made up". So we decided to celebrate mothers day until noon and the rest of the day would be Jonah's birthday. Jonah let me sleep in for a little bit and he made me french toast then he gave me a card from Jonah eric and a card from him. It was pretty uneventful. The rest of the day we went to the mall and walked around and then we went out to eat chinese. We wanted to eat at Outback Steakhouse but it was a 24 hour wait. jk After dinner we went to a friends house for cake and ice cream. I hope everyone had a wonderful mothers day.

The Gala

Last night Jonah and I went to the University of Maryland football Gala. The occasion was black tie and upscale. We had a great time eating dinner and dancing afterwards. We got a babysitter for Jonah jr and he had a great time with ms tonya. I made a fleece blanket for the gala this year and it got auctioned off for $150.00 WoW! I wish I could really sell them for that much. Here are some pictures of us all dressed up. Jonah was the best looking man there.
