Splash

Today we went to a splash water park in Germantown Maryland. The park was covered with waterfall trees, a water rising maze and so much more. Jonah eric had a good time running thru the water as long as it did not hit his face. He got very upset if the water came in contact with his face. It was around 105 degrees today, a perfect way to cool off.

The Wiggles Concert

Jonah eric went to his first concert yesterday. He got to see the Wiggles!! We took the metro into the big city of D.C. which he loved. It was a big day for the both of us. There were so many children everywhere. Jonah eric was a little over stimulated at first and then he calmed down, he was dancing with all the other children and having a blast. On the way home he was so pooped out he fell asleep on the metro and the whole way home.

Congratulations to Uncle Roger and Marianne

August 5 Jonah jr and I attended Uncle Rogers wedding. We drove to New Jersey all by ourselves and did it with minimal fussiness. We ate at my favorite restaurant Cracker barrel twice and enjoyed every bite. The wedding was wonderful we danced and ate lots of great food. Mima met us there and we enjoyed being with her tremendously. Jonah danced so much he tried taking a nap on the dance floor.

Welcome to the Jungle

Last weekend we decided to give Jonah jr his own bathroom. We decided on a jungle theme, since everything else in his room is a sports theme the bathroom is completely different. There's lions, elephants, giraffes and my favorite monkeys. The bathroom is a sight to see. I took some pictures of it.Jonah jr loves his new jungle. There is a lion rug, alligator soap dish, giraffe toothbrush holder elephant tumbler, lion soap dispenser and a monkey tissue box. Everything was purchased at target, they have a wonderful assortment of decorations for kids bathrooms.
