Ahoy Pirates of the Cheseapeake

After Jonah's 1st great week of preschool my friend Heidi and I decided to have a mom and son's day. We decided to take the boys out and let them be pirates for the day. We decided on this great place in Annapolis called Pirates on the Chesapeake. There is an actual ship, the kids get their faces painted, dress up like pirates and walk the plank onto the ship where we sailed around the Chesapeake we looked for treasure and we even saw a bad pirate and sunk his ship. It was great fun and the kids enjoyed it.

Jonah's 1st day of School

Jonah had his first day of preschool last week. It was very exciting and bittersweet for me. We went into the classroom and he ran to his seat without a hug or kiss for mommy, he just said "see you later mom". I started to cry not because he forgot to give me a hug and kiss but it was the first time I really felt like my baby is not a baby anymore he is big boy. These 3 and half years have went by so fast, I truly understand the old people when they come over to me and tell to cherish every second because of how fast life can go by.
